This listing is for a brand new 34 pieces (2 extra queens) set of staunton chess men in our Supreme design  with board. Chess men are acacia and boxwood, double weighted and felted. Board features solid wood. Its well figured knights and well proportioned chess pieces makes it one of the must have for a chess player. Height of the king is 10 cm and base is 4 cm. Size of the board is 52 cm and square is 5,5 cm.

Silicone chess pieces and board. The chessboard is available in  brown or green. The advantages of Silicone are that the pieces are indestructible, (unless you throw them in the fire...) and the chessboard always keeps its perfect shape, even if folded or rolled beforehand. This set is particularly suitable for children. The dimensions are those used in clubs: 55 mm square for the chessboard and 95 mm height for the king.

Miron Sher (1952-2020) is chess grandmaster and legendary coach. He was born in Ukraine, won a dozen international tournaments as a player, and became famous as a trainer in the United States where he lived since 1997. In New York he taught chess at multiple schools, including the Dalton School, IS 318 and Stuyvesant High School.
