The father of Soviet chess, Mikhail Botvinnik was the sixth world champion in the history of chess, and is regarded as the master of preparation, thanks to his analyses of unparalleled depth at the time.
The aim of this series, which will normally cover all world champions, is to extract the famous "classic" or reference games, accompanied by exercises and tests, accessible to all. This work is an associative project, and the Nancy chess school is at the heart of it. Written by two IMs (Anastasia Savina and Christophe Philippe) and a FIDE master (Cédric Paci).
